1950's Sterling Silver Friendship Ring 2

Do you remember when...I do and this type of ring was very popular with the young set in the 1950's and early 60's. This vintage ring does have lots of patina and a wonderful heart pierced design. The ring is a size 7 and about 1/4" wide. Unsigned, but it has been tested.

Vintage French Art Deco Enamel Ring

Have a look at the lovely French Deco enamel design on the ring. The designs are separated by silver wires. The colors in each arch are amethyst black, sapphire black, on a chinese red background. The ring is hallmarked but I cannot tell what it says so I tested to .925 sterling silver.

The ring size is size 7 x 1/8" wide. Condition is excellent and from 1919 to the 1920's.

Sterling Silver Heart Garnet Marcasite Ring

This lovely ring is signed .925 and is also hallmarked. The ring features a prong set heart shaped faceted garnet over pass with a row of 14 marcasite set on the band below. This is a very lovely look if you wear the ring with the heart facing you or facing out. The ring size is 8 and the ring is in excellent condition. The garnet stone shows no wear to the naked eye or under 10x magnification. Very lovely. The estimated size of the garnet is 5mm.

Silver Cannetille Open Work Peking Glass Ring

This is a very old ring. It is unsigned silver. It is not silver plate or white gold plated but solid silver. This ring has been tested.

This ring is prong set with a large oval Peking glass cab in a large floral star shaped gallery. The prongs are designed in the very fine antique style.

The stone is a lovely shade of emerald green perhaps to simulate fine jade.

Under the open work gallery you will see in one of the pictures a side view that shows the fine rosette or wire work also called cannetille. This type of wire work is a type of metal decoration named after the type of embroidery made with fine twisted gold or silver thread. It is done using thin wires to make a filigree pattern.

This is a very early ring but still I feel was made some time in the early 20th century.

The stone is an estimated size of 9mm, with no visible wear to the stone even under 10x magnification.

The front of the ring is about 3/4'' across. The ring size is adjustable so as to fit most fingers comfortably. This is a lovely old ring that is in great condition.
