Signed B. Blumenthal, & CO., Inc. This is a very rare dress clip, made by a company that originally made buttons starting in the late 1800's. They only made jewelry for a short time and thus any jewelry items by this company is considered rare and very hard to find. This antique dress clip was probably made in the 1920's. It features a 1 1/2" stamped setting that is full of shamrock and pansys. Set with a large filigree open work ornate plaque that features a large faceted oval amethyst stone with emerald and amethyst chaton accent stones. You can see by the above image that the dress clip is signed and in excellent condition. The stones are very good to excellent. This is a wonderful hard to find dress clip.
